InSpyred by: Carter Smith

What I really love about the work of Carter Smith is the essence of fantasy that he incorporates into his photos. I find them mystical and dreamy and they include a captivating element, with the almost surreal atmosphere created by most of his photos. Carter Smith mostly does portraits of models. I love how his photos make you focus in on the face and he uses a blurred background to enhance the focus of the photograph. I find his work truly mesmerizing.

I am also loving these photos that have a more natural look. It looks like the photographer has just been following this couple around on the street and he's just been taking real life natural street shots- that's my favourite type of photography :) The first one is my favourite, I'd love to know which one is yours!

p.s. I might attempt to take some photos in a similar style, so watch out for it!

Real Focus

I'm really pleased with these flower shots I took using my dad's sony nex5. The camera made it possible to capture with amazing detail and I loved the effect of focusing on one point and having the background blurred. Hope you like them!

Dreamy daisy

My dad took these shots of me holding this lovely yellow daisy. I love the perspective in the photos and I think they are really great shots. I know I didn't take them but I love them a lot so I really wanted to share them with you guys!  Hope you like!

Lulworth Cove

A while ago I went to Lulworth cove and using my Dad's awesome Sony NEX5 Camera, I took some photos that I am quite happy with.(With the beautiful setting and landscape, it was hard to go wrong) So I hope you like them. These are all unfiltered, so I might do another post with edited photos.

Hi!

Hi there,

I am Charlotte and I am fifteen.
The reason that I want to start this blog is to share some of my photos with you and to share with you my experience of progressing and improving my photography, as well showing my inspiration and how I grow and broaden my horizons as a photographer. Photography is something I am passionate about and I am keen to learn how to get better. I'm not great at the moment, but hopefully you will see me progress and be able to conquer my passion and eventually produce some awesome photos.
